Its extremely draining for him to be inside someone else's brain and probably not morally right to mess with their feelings. He is a typical teenage boy that uses it to his advantage, though really he should just try and find a nice girl because he doesn't need his powers to attract them. The effects typically last no more than a few days and leaves the person feeling a bit confused afterwords. It kind of screws with his brain as well, all the false love he receives Its great at first but in the end is never really worth it and he usually regrets it even though he continues to do it. No he doesn't have any mommy issues he is just a ass. Underneath it all there is a decent guy, probably....but I cant be too sure. You would not think it but he is actually quite the smart guy and enjoys school work, if you pay him he may help tutor you. He does like to talk and be around people as he can be a bit of a attention whore in all the best ways. Of course they claim it's just old family money. Growing up he was groomed to be his father successor but never really wanted much part in it. His parents were pretty decent people outside of their criminal empire, and were very loving and caring towards Astor. He was a spoiled child though and was given pretty much everything he wanted growing up. Around the age of 10 is when he remembers meeting his best friend Evangeline at their mothers book club meeting. He never saw his mother reading and thought she just went to those things to gossip with other woman which terribly bored him. At first he never really understood why his mother drug him to those thing, until he was told to be friendly with Evan. This at first annoyed him as he had no interest in the girl. And despite all intention of not befriending her, she ended up turning into his best friend. Someone he could now not picture his life without. They became very close and were very rarely apart. His mother used to tease him that some day he would probably marry her. Maybe more like be her man of honor, because he had never felt anything more than platonic feelings for her. He would be there for her through her brother being sent away and then when her mother died. You would think most people would get sick of the constant company, but he never did. Always offering a place to crash if she needed it. This would become difficult as they got older as he often times put her above any girl he was seeing and as you can imagine this did not make them happy. At the age of 14 he started to have strange abilities and without realizing started to control peoples feelings. Of course he found this a bit creepy and didn't quite understand it in his young age but as he got older he definitely used it to his advantage. His parents sent him off to Primrose a long with Evan so he could learn how to control his ability. Normally he would have protested going to some fancy boarding school but because Evan was there he went without a fight. Last year his father was thrown in prison for all things Tax fraud, to be honest Astor finds this a bit humorous but his mother is heartbroken so he tries not to laugh in her presence. Sadly this also means his father is pressuring him to be apart the family business even more. the role player |
