The Mutineers are Coming is set in modern day New Orleans, Louisiana and operates in real time, while being pushed forward with player plots.
Gifted people have always had their place in society, hidden in plain sight or locked away for their own protection. New Orleans has always been a magnet for the strange and mysterious, in 2017 this is no exception.
For the spoiled, rich, and elite there is Primrose Academy. Primrose only opens its gates for the best of the best from the wealthiest families in the world. Primrose Academy uses a cover as an elite boarding school to the outside world, but had earn a reputation as the number one place to learn how to train and hone abilities. For those who are not as lucky to make it into Primrose Academy, there is Phalanx Home. A group home setting for those with abilities that need to be trained and a place to live. Phalanx Home will give you a stable environment to learn how to use your abilities and grow as a person. When abilities are dangerous, there is Monroeville Hospital. Monroeville locks away the most dangerous or volatile people and teaches them how to use or even suppress their abilities for the safety of others.
