BONNIE ANITA DAVIS the basics full name ♦ Bonnie Anita Davis nicknames ♦ Bonbon age ♦ Twenty-Three birthday ♦ April 13, 1994 occupation ♦ Patient school ♦ Monroeville Asylum species ♦ human ability/power ♦ Hallucination Manifestation how the ability works ♦ Bonnie's power is different from most super-powered humans. To date, she hasn't come across anyone like herself. Bonnie has the ability to make her hallucinations come to life. She was diagnosed with schizophrenia at an abnormally young age. At 14, her hallucinations began to manifest in to actual creations. When Bonnie was off of her medication, that meant it she was extremely dangerous to herself and others. Bonnie can't control what her brain cooks up - it could be anything from monsters, to cute little animals, birds flying around her head, or even her own family and friends. As of right now she has no control over her power - her hallucinations come and go as they please. The only way to make them lie dormant is to dope Bonnie up so high on medications that she has no hallucinations (the con being that she is barely able to function). Staff at Monroeville are working to make a safe place for her to try to practice and control her abilities, but seeing as she is one, and they have to tend to many, it might take awhile before she can even begin to practice. gender ♦ Female sexuality ♦ pansexual the appearance face claim ♦ Chloe Norgaard height and weight ♦ 5'7" & 120lbs identifying features ♦ sharpie-dyed hair overall appearance ♦ Bonnie has a tall, willowy appearance. She has naturally light blonde hair, which she often dyes with sharpies she finds around the asylum. Her body is thin, and borderline malnourished due to her medications. Bonnie is usually dressed in ratty clothing, and her hair in tangles. Usually the help has to assist her with washing clothing, and bribing her to take showers and whatnot. Even though she doesn't do much in the way of physical fitness, she always feels a little bit grimy. the personality likes ♦ reading, hair dye, Atticus making her laugh, quietness dislikes ♦ being doped up all the time, being a "Lifer", the lack of library in Monroeville, that her hair dye is usually stolen sharpies strengths ♦ staying positive despite the mess she's in, stealthy weaknesses ♦ has to stay on medication that makes her foggy all the time, when she's not on her medication she is completely vulnerable dreams ♦ to get rid of her hallucinations and powers once and for all (without having to be on drugs 24/7) fears ♦ being kicked out of Monroeville, spiraling out of control without her medications, and wind up killing herself and/or others overall personality ♦ Despite Bonnie's current situation, she's very light-hearted and mischievous. When she isn't doped up to high heaven, she enjoys stealing med carts with Atticus to ride down the hallways, and scrounging up sharpies to color her ratty hair. Though it's only a limited world she lives in, she likes to make the best of it. When Bonnie is off of her medication, her personality completely flips. She's irritable, erratic, and jittery. Her hallucinations make her extremely paranoid. The smallest things can make her snap, and not to mention, her powers are trying to attack her (or others) at every corner. the history father ♦ Mitchell Davis, 47, Pharmacist mother ♦ Kimberly Davis (nee Warren), 45, Artist siblings ♦ Unknown younger sister important people ♦ hometown ♦ Perrysburg, Ohio, USA overall history ♦ Bonnie Davis is the only child born to Mitchell and Kimberly Davis. Ever since Bonnie was small, she always knew she was kinda weird. She never really fit in with the other kids - her social skills seemed to be stunted. She was always too awkward, or too quiet and shy to play with others. It was when she was 13 when Bonnie was officially diagnosed with schizophrenia. Abnormally young to be diagnosed, apparently, but it was there. Apparently puberty triggered the sudden change in Bonnie's brain. There was a lot more into the explanation as to reasons why she could've become this way so early, but Bonnie didn't care. She only knew that this label would change the rest of her life, and there was nothing she could do about it. A few months later, Bonnie's powers began manifesting as well. The hallucinations that she had been having, began appearing into existence as physical beings. As long as Bonnie was conscious and, well, hallucinating, the people and creatures would be there as well. It was not long after the first incident that Bonnie was shipped off to Monroeville Asylum in Louisiana. The next day they had her on all kinds of drugs to suppress her mind, pretty much making her a vegetable until her body could get used to the new medication. Bonnie was barely fourteen when she was admitted. Sometimes she would listen to the nurses talk about her condition. Talking about how they felt so bad for her. How she would never leave. Bonnie would always need assistance. Between her condition and her powers, there was no way she could ever be a free, normal member of society. At Monroeville, sad little Bonnie met fellow Lifer, Atticus Parker. He was a few years older than Bonnie, and had been in the asylum since he was far too young as well. Atticus was Bonnie's rock during her teen years, and grew into the best brotherly figure she could ever have. Even though Bonnie is rather silent and spacey, Atticus is still her best friend, and the nurses would probably need a pry bar to separate her from Atticus's side. One of Bonnie's greatest fears is that Atticus would finally get well enough to leave this place. While of course, nothing would be better than that for the man, Bonnie knew she would never be able to follow. Atticus has a slim chance of being able to be put back into society. Bonnie has zero. She would never be free. the role player alias ♦ Tinman age ♦ 22 pronouns ♦ she/her code ♦ ADMIN EDIT other characters ♦ N/A |
